Kutani ware is a gem of Japanese ceramics. Bright polychrome overglaze enamels richly decorate porcelain with bold design patterns and motifs. Underneath its enchanting colours, Kutani ware has flawlessly formed porcelain vessels, which are thrown on the wheel by skilled potters.
